Okay, I spent my lunch shopping at Pike's Place, so I thought 'why not write a little diddy on it?' This is the, where to go and what not to do.
Where to go? Manzo Brothers for fruits and veggies. Their stalls say Arcade No. 7, I have no idea, it just confuses me. They are cheap and have immaculate string beans. No, really, go just to look at their string beans, that alone is worth a trip to the Market. And if you are looking for anything Italian, DeLaurenti Specialty Food & Wine is your place. I love their pre-made ravioli and pancetta.
What not to do? Do not, for the love of god, get honey sticks. You will regret it. Every time I get honey sticks, and no matter what the flavor I throw it away half way through my first stick. They are gross and it is a waste of $5. Lastly, please don't buy from the shirt guy in the second stall to the left at the beginning of the Market. He has no talent. I can paint on shirts too with phrases that say, "Trust me, I'm a doctor." Seriously, the shirts are terrible and I don't understand why he has a stall.
So come to the Market (especially on Sunday during the summer, all the local farmers come!) Buy fresh fruit and no honey sticks. Here is an image of a random guy in front of Pike's, he is a huge nerd.
