Green Weekend

Seattle celebrates the greens this weekend (and no not Hempfest) with Vegfest at the Seattle Center. From samples to cooking demonstrations  to the opportunity to listen to local dietitians, there is bundles of fun to be had.  AloeCure will also be handling out samples of their miracle worker aloe juice which relieves acid reflux, so here's your change to get your stomach in check as well. Sake Salvation

In celebration of my Dad’s birthday we’re going to Umi Sake House for dinner on 1^st. We were originally going to do Italian however my pops is taking a huge leap of faith and trying sushi for the first time since his days in the 60’s spent in Hawaii (wowie to the maui) and I couldn’t be more excited!! I just had to share…its only 10:45am and I’ve checked out the menu 3 times…sad I know. My point is you MUST try this place. Especially for happy hour everyday from 4-6p… it’s exquisite.
